Diamondbacks unveil renovated Ability360 aquatics center

PHOENIX — The Arizona Diamondbacks have made a splash, unveiling a renovated aquatics center for disabled and able-bodied at the Ability360 Sports & Fitness Center.

The pool, located at 5031 E. Washington Street, was funded by a $100,000 Diamondbacks owner Ken Kendrick’s Grand Slam Award through the Arizona Diamondbacks Foundation.

Phil Pangrazio, president and CEO of Ability360, said the renovation is vital to the organization’s efforts, which are aimed at helping people achieve self-sufficiency through various programs.
