Professions protected from assault under Arizona law

HB 2313, sponsored by Rep. Adam Driggs, R-Phoenix, would automatically classify violence against process servers as aggravated assault. Here are professions that currently have that protection under Arizona law:

_ Peace officers

_ Constables

_ Firefighters

_ EMTs and paramedics

_ Teachers

_ Health-care practitioners

_ Prosecutors
