PHOENIX – After nearly 10 months of restorations, the Milwaukee Brewers unveiled changes to their spring training facility, including a new name.

Formerly Maryvale Baseball Park, American Family Fields of Phoenix features an all-new scoreboard, workout facility and clubhouse. The team invested more than $60 million into the project that heavily emphasized making the stadium accessible and useful to the community.

“To have an upgraded technology and upgraded spaces and resources, it just allows us to do better and more efficient work throughout the season,” Brewers general manager David Stearns said.

The stadium has been the spring training home for the Brewers since 1998 so the team gave back in the form of a new learning lounge created in partnership with Grand Canyon University.
