SCOTTSDALE – On Day 4 of the Waste Management Phoenix Open, plenty of golfers were on a roll, on and off the course.
After posting just one birdie in his first eight holes, Justin Thomas made six in his next seven holes and finished with his best round ever at the Phoenix Open with a 7-under 64. He was one of several golfers that seemed to have the course’s number Thursday.
Arizona Diamondbacks pitcher Archie Bradley was on a roll, too, from a social media standpoint. Bradley, who had participated in a pro-am Wednesday, tweeted that his golf bag was missing. He said he had expected his bag and clubs to be at the valet when he was done but they weren’t.
“If we can’t find these clubs we’re going to have some serious issues,” he said in a social video. “Please, let’s come together and find Archie’s golf bag.”
He also added #FINDARCHIESBAG to his posts.
There was a little bit of good new. PXG sent him replacement clubs Thursday. He shared that video, too.
