GILBERT – A Sept. 17 Cronkite News story about expanding recess in Arizona inaccurately characterized a statement about Arizona standards by Christine Davis, founder of Arizonans for Recess and School Wellness. Davis said withholding recess violates a long-established Arizona Department of Education standard.
