EDS: Clients who used a Cronkite News Story slugged Sports-Phoenix Open Growth that moved Monday, Jan. 29, under a PHOENIX  dateline, are asked to use the following correction. The error occurred in the 12th paragraph of the original story. A corrected version of the story has been posted here.

PHOENIX – A January 29 Cronkite News story on the growth of the Waste Management Phoenix Open had an incorrect figure for the amount of non-Arizona residents attending the tournament last year. According to a study by Arizona State’s W.P. Carey School of Business and ASU’s L. William Seidman Research Institute, 99,887 attended the event.
