CORRECTION to Sept. 14 story on Grand Canyon bison UPDATED

EDS: Clients who used a Cronkite News Story slugged BC-CNS-Bison Bounty that moved Thursday, Sept. 14, under a WASHINGTON dateline, are asked to use the following correction. A corrected version of the story has been posted here.

WASHINGTON – A Sept. 14 Cronkite News story about plans to reduce the size of the bison herd in the Grand Canyon National Park misspelled the names of two sources. Jeff Olson is the Grand Canyon’s acting chief of communications and Shelly Shepherd is a spokeswoman for the Arizona Game and Fish Department in Flagstaff. The story also mischaracterized how people will be selected to participate in the culling: The service will seek skilled volunteers for the operation.
