SCHOOL EMPLOYEE MISCONDUCT AS DEFINED BY SB 1341

SB 1341, which would require the State Board of Education to create guidelines for public school district and charter school codes of conduct, defines misconduct as the following:
_violations of federal, state, local or school district law and general policy, workplace attendance policies or individual or group rights protected by law;
_ dishonesty;
_ falsifying records or providing inaccurate information;
_ insubordination;
_ discrimination;
_ crimes involving dishonesty, falsification of records or providing inaccurate information, inappropriate, abusive or offensive conduct, sexual offenses, spirituous liquor or drugs, theft or damage to property or weapons on school grounds;
_ other crimes.
