WASHINGTON – A Jan. 20 story on veterans’ mental health advocates Jean and Howard Somers omitted reference to a House bill aimed at overhauling programs to reduce veteran suicides. Jean Somers said advocates hope the Clay Hunt Suicide Prevention for American Veterans Act will pass quickly and “set the stage for some bipartisan cooperation.”
