Supporters tout benefits of aviation industry in Arizona

Here are some benefits of aviation in the state, according to organizers of Arizona Aviation Day:

_ Generates $18.2 billion of economic activity per year.
_ Generates 230,000 jobs per year.
_ Generates $1.8 billion annually in tax revenue.
_ Taking spending multipliers into account, the economic impact of the industry is $38.5 billion annually.
