Here are quick facts about Yuma Quartermaster Depot State Historic Park:

_ History: U.S. Army depot along the Colorado River that once supplied outposts around the Southwest. Ships brought supplies to the mouth of the river, and steamers brought them to the depot.

_ Offerings: Five original structures, covered wagons, uniforms and other exhibits bringing to life the depot as it was in the late 1800s.

_ Location: Part of the Yuma Crossing National Historic Area, a stretch of riverfront that includes Yuma Territorial Prison State Historic Park.

_ Visitors: Around 12,000 in fiscal year 2008.
