Here are key findings in a Greater Phoenix Convention & Visitors Bureau on the impact of Phoenix hotels on tax revenue:

_ Total 2008 tax revenue generated, including sales and property taxes: $169 million.

_ Property tax revenue accounted for about a quarter of the total.

_ The gross tax revenues per hotel room: $6,386.

_ The totals don’t include off-site spending by guests.
