Key facts about the PHX Sky Train

Here are key facts about the PHX Sky Train at Phoenix Sky Harbor International Airport:

_ First phase, scheduled for completion in 2013, will link METRO light rail and the East Economy lot with Terminal 4.
_ Second phase, scheduled for completion in 2020, will extend to the other terminals and to the rental car facility west of the airport.
_ Trains will be automated _ no drivers _ and run on rubber wheels along a track running above areas with the most traffic congestion.
_ Total projected cost: $1.1 billion.
_ Total length: 4.8 miles.
_ Will replace more than 100 buses shuttling people around the airport.
