Here are details about the Arizona Assurance scholarship program at the University of Arizona:

_ Students receive about $4,700 from Pell Grants, $3,200 from UA grants and $4,000 from private supporters.
_ Students are expected to cover the estimated remaining cost $2,400 by working 10-12 hours per week at an on-campus job.
_ Of nearly 600 students receiving the scholarship in fall 2008, 96 percent returned this semester, exceeding university-wide retention rates.
