CAMP VERDE – Ignacio Mesa operates a small winery off State Route 260 in Camp Verde where he planted his first vines in 2002. Today, Clear Creek Vineyard & Winery is a 100% sustainable winery from planting to harvesting. But climate change is making it hard to consistently produce good wine year after year, Mesa said, and he’s not alone.
