WASHINGTON – An April 14 Cronkite News story about the Food and Drug Administration’s decision to allow the addition of folic acid to corn masa flour gave the wrong range of dates for a number of neural tube birth defects reported in Arizona. The Arizona Department of Health Services says there were 550 such cases from 2002 to 2011.
