CORRECTION to Nov. 14 story on Arizona farmland

EDS: Clients who used a Cronkite News story slugged BC-CNS-Shrinking Farmland that moved Monday, Nov. 14, under a BUCKEYE dateline, are asked to use the following correction. The error appeared in the ninth graf of the original story. A corrected version of the story has been posted here.

BUCKEYE – A Nov. 14 Cronkite News story about the declining farm acreage in Arizona gave an incorrect number for the average size of farms in the state in 1997. The 8,507 farms in the state that year averaged 3,194 acres in size, according to a U.S. Department of Agriculture census.
